| Steve Simmons' old Z. Someone please point the old coot this way if you see him this week. :) Almost restored back to her former glory... Click on pics for full size. Got her like this with all bolts from the firewall forward in 3 unmarked boxes. I love Z puzzles though so it's all good. Need to buy Steve some zip lock bags for xmas. 
Then picked me up a perfect compression 80k TT motor. 
Tore it down to clean it up and refresh all the seals and check everything out. 
Slapped on some powdercoated parts and yet more cleaning... 
Add on a pair of these... 
Then wait on the engine bay to get back from rust removal and new paint. 
Clean engine bay + clean engine = fun times in the apartment's garage. 
But it all worked out. Fit perfectly. Amazing huh? 
Well, then my spare time ran out along with my funds so I took a break for a bit. Got a new house, workload increased. etc. But I got back around to it again eventually and she fired up first try. Not even a single leak either. :) 
Picked up a jspec front and wing. Test fitted them. 
Then sent the hood, fenders, bumper, and wing off to get painted. 
Slapped them all back on and that is where I left off last week. 
Just painted, the shop still wants me to come back and buff it all out. But since I'm getting the rest painted this next week I didn't want to waste their time with it. Hopefully she'll be all done in 2 weeks or so. Just need to replace all the trim, moldings, and charge the AC. Anyway, just had to share since everyone else was. :)
